M7, the final milestone before the June release of Eclipse 3.4, was made available last Friday. There will probably be some release candidates before the final release. There have been numerous changes made over the course of the 3.4 milestone releases. If you haven't seen a milestone since you did your Eclipse 3.3 install, now is your chance to look at the features that will be available.

For this milestone, on the PDE side of things, there's the ability to mark an extension point as internal, and the Plug-in Registry view has been updated to include information about OSGi services.

The JDT has additions to utilize multiple CPUs on your machine for faster compilation, and among other editor enhancements, there is an object inspector hover available during debugging.
