Excelsior JET 6.5 beta 4 - List of Tested RCP Apps Posted
The just-released Excelsior JET 6.5 Beta 4 meets most of the requirements we selected when aiming at support for Eclipse RCP a year ago:
First off, different versions of the Eclipse IDEs compiled with Excelsior JET work flawlessly (yes, we use them ourselves for Java and Java EE development).
Then, the percentage of the passed Eclipse Unit Tests run on the compiled Eclipse IDE has got very close to 100%.
Finally, we unveiled yet another part of our Eclipse-centric testsuite: real world RCP applications, and the news are that they all work if compiled with Excelsior JET 6.5 beta 4. The list includes:

Beta 4 also adds full support for Eclipse RCP to the deployment tools that are part of Excelsior JET.
