This webinar will introduce you to the SOA Tools Platform Intermediate Model (STP-IM) component, a recent addition to Eclipse STP. STP-IM is meant as a "bridge" between editors. Its elements have the role of conceptual transport between different development spaces with the purpose to capture as much common SOA design information from different editors as possible. In particular, it aims to bridge the workflow and process world (BPMN / BPEL) with the architecture specification world (SCA / JBI) and the service creation world (such as JAX-WS).

The Memory Analyzer Project
May 29, 2008
8:00 am PDT / 11:00 am EDT / 3:00 pm GMT
Presented by Andreas Buchen

The Memory Analyzer is a heap dump analyzer which immediately shows the biggest objects, groups objects by class loaders and adds application knowledge to make sense out of the millions of objects in a typical heap dump. This webinar will take you on a hands-on tour of the most important features such as generating a report listing possible leaks, finding out why an object is not garbage collected, analyzing the memory consumption of components (WAR or plug-ins), and showing ways to reduce memory consumption.
