Did you know? DZone has great portals for Python, Cloud, NoSQL, and HTML5!

I've been a zone leader with DZone since 2008. I work as a technical lead on a next generation tool suite using based on Eclipse. This means that I get to use Java everyday, and a selection of the best Eclipse technologies, from EMF to GEF to Xtext. Along with all of this, I do iOS development in my spare time. James is a DZone Zone Leader and has posted 528 posts at DZone. You can read more from them at their website. View Full User Profile

The Keynote

Donald Smith has written about what seems to be a great keynote from Fake Steve Jobs (Dan Lyons) and has links to some slides that didn't make it to the final cut - so you can see the uncensored keynote.
Darin Swanson and Virgil Dodson also provide their insights into the keynote and other events throughout the day.

The Talks

Wayne Beaton blogged about Server Side Eclipse which sounds like it was a great talk. Taking up from the announcements of Equinox as a top level Eclipse project, this talk goes further into explaining how Eclipse is more than a client side IDE.

Ed Merx did a lot of writing about the day, where he discusses the talks he attended and provides us with lots of pictures.

Tutorial Slides

Kai Toedter has published slides from his Advanced RCP Tutorial on his blog - if you didn't get there it's well worth downloading this tutorial.

Michael Scharf has also published his slides from the Understanding JFace DataBinding tutorial, along with sample projects.

If anyone else who gave tutorials would publish them online, it would be an excellent resource. Let me know if you'd like them published on EclipseZone.
